A straight, non-comedic Asian horror film in which a beautiful woman, secretly in love with a family servant, takes drastic steps when her lover is murdered by an evil cousin. The plot also features a rape, some practicing of black magic, and nasty spells -- which all results in a ghostly reunion in hell. |

For those who have never seen a Vietnamese fantasy / horror film, here's your chance. The low-budget and low-key affair seems to concern a young woman and a Snake cult -- but it's hard to figure out what's going on, since there are no subtitles. (This English title is a descriptive name, not an official title. It is unlikely that this film ever had an 'official' English title.)(NS) |

Two men ignore the local warnings concerning a beast on the loose during full moons, and venture out at night. They are attacked by a tiger ghost -- a man cursed years ago for killing a tiger's mate. One of the men survives the attack, but he's badly wounded, and of course, infected by the curse. He now becomes a were-tiger himself, searching for human victims. |

Some archaeologists go to Thailand on a working vacation. Once their, some local toughs and an evil wizard make their lives miserable. The wizard reanimates a killer zombi to create havoc, and when that's not enough, he ups the ante. Although this horror film clearly has an Asian outlook, it also has a hint of Straw Dogs to it. |
