In an effort to shoot a rocket up and cause rain, a mass explosion occurs, releasing five giant monsters trapped beneath the earth. There is also a fortune telling doll and some magic spells. This may be Madonna's best film, even if she doesn't realize she appeared it. In walks a chimpanzee doctor, carrying a flask of magic elixir. He checks her vitals, gives her the medicine and she recovers quickly. Now she must fulfill her father's promise and marry the chimp. Meanwhile, there is a traitor in the family's midst, and they are suspicious of the wrong man. A Tarzan like boy (who can control animals) helps to find proof of the real culprit. |

Obviously filmed as the first installment of a two film series -- but part two was never made. A jailed criminal hires an unscrupulous Taoist priest to raise the dead, in order to get revenge on the man who caused his arrest. Things don't go exactly as planned, and the criminal dies -- but his angry spirit enters the body of his adversary's father. This makes for an interesting situation, as the hero must battle a zombified version of his undead father. Great action and lots of fun. |
