Superb Mexican comedy movie poster by Ernesto Garcia Cabral -- unique even by the artist's standards. Tin Tan and the lovely Ms. Valdes are presented as alley cat's, who are prowling the city streets at night. This poster is one of my personal favorites. There is a repaired 6" tear starting in the middle of the left edge and running in along the center fold line. However, there was no paper loss, so this is not very noticeable. Also, sections of the fold lines have been reinforced on the back with acid-free, archival tape, but this is not visible on the front. These minor problems are not very distracting, and in fact, the onesheet is in great shape & it will display beautifully... During an interview, Ernesto Garcia Cabral Jr. stated that his father contributed to the art work on this poster, and he remembered watching his father at work on it. The three portraits along the bottom certainly have his father's style and it is known that Cabral did collaborate with other artists on other posters.
